Meet Our Doctors

Lori J. Izabal, MD

Izabel

Dr. Izabal received her Bachelor’s Degree in Microbiology from The University of California, Los Angeles in 1991. She went on to study medicine at the University of California, Irvine College of Medicine and completed her residency in Family Medicine at The Kaiser Permanente Hospital in Fontana, CA. Dr. Izabal has been practicing in the Newport Beach area since 2000 and is Board Certified by the American Board of Family Practice. In her spare time, Dr. Izabal enjoys traveling, reading, gardening and spending time with her two children. Dr. Izabal is fluent in Spanish.

Ali R. Rafatjoo, MD

Dr. Rafatjoo received his Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from the University of California, Irvine in 1990 and went on to study medicine at the University of California, Irvine College of Medicine. After a year of training in general surgery, he went on to complete a residency in Family Medicine at The Kaiser Permanente Hospital in Fontana, CA. Dr. Rafatjoo has been practicing in the Newport Beach area since 1998 and is Board Certified by the American Board of Family Practice. In his spare time, Dr. Rafatjoo enjoys gourmet cooking, organic gardening, swimming, scuba diving, fishing, and spending time with his family. Dr. Rafatjoo is fluent in Spanish, French and Farsi.

Kimiko Snider, MD

Kimiko Snider, MD

Dr. Snider studied medicine at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, MI from 1986-1990 and completed her residency at MacNeal Hospital/Rush Presbyterian St Luke’s in 1993. After working in the Chicago area for a year, Dr. Snider established a thriving solo practice in the small town of Manistee, MI caring for multiple generations of families for 12 years.  She moved to Corona del Mar, CA in 2006 and gets the same satisfaction treating her Newport Beach patients as she did in small town Michigan. Dr. Snider is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.

In her spare time, Dr. Snider enjoys reading and hiking in the beauty of coastal Southern California. Dr. Snider is married to Dr. Michael Reines and they have two children.
